Questions, answered
A clear starting point for your learning questions.
Here is what to expect from Basecamp courses, practice, access, and billing.
What is Basecamp?
Basecamp is a text-first technical learning platform. Courses combine explanations, checkpoints, coding practice, progress tracking, and certificates where applicable.
Do I need to subscribe to learn?
No. Free courses can be enrolled in without payment. Paid courses can be purchased individually, while a subscription gives access to the paid course library during the active billing period.
What does a paid course purchase include?
A paid course purchase gives you access to that course and its available lessons, exercises, and progress tracking. The exact access terms are shown before checkout.
Which languages can I practise?
The current execution setup supports Python, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, and Bash. Code runs through an external provider rather than inside the Basecamp web server.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes. You can cancel renewal from your account billing area. Access remains available through the end of the current paid period.
How do certificates work?
When you complete an eligible course and meet its completion requirements, Basecamp can issue a certificate with a verifiable certificate number.
Which payment methods are supported?
Checkout is connected to supported Nigerian payment providers. The available provider options are shown during checkout and may depend on the configured course or plan.
Can I learn on my phone?
Yes. The learning workspace is responsive, though a larger screen is recommended for coding exercises and longer reading sessions.
Still deciding where to begin?
Browse the course library or compare the proposed access options for your learning goals.
